BR5-49
"The best country band ever, hands down. I saw them live several
times before they quit touring and they are a major influence to
me. I remember when I was about 14 or 15 and
seeing the "Cherokee Boogie" video on CMT and really thinking it
was something. If there's any band out there I would aspire to
be like, it's BR5-49" |

"Dale is one of the best in the business today. He is a great
musician, singer and songwriter. I've never met Dale or seen him
live, but I listen to his records pretty often and if there's
anybody in the underground country world that should be a
star, I think it should be Dale." |

"My favorite modern day songwriter. He has an awesome, unique
voice that allows him to do a wide range of styles and he is a
great guitar player as well. Georgia Hard is one of those few
albums you can listen to from start to finish and never skip a
track. "I Never Did Like Planes" is one of those songs you hear
and want to kick yourself for not coming up with first!" |

"Like most others, I first heard of Wayne via Hank III. He's a
great songwriter and I've enjoyed working several shows with him
and he's always been real nice to me. He's certainly worthy of
his 'King of Juke Joint Swing' moniker." |

"These guys have been around a long time and they carry the
torch for Bob Wills style Western Swing. They have always had
really great musicians in their organization and pull off that
kind of music like nobody else can." |

"The best three piece western swing outfit in the business.
Elana is an awesome fiddle player when it comes to country, jazz
or swing. Whitt is an awesome guitar player in that Django
Reinhardt kinda style. Both of them are awesome singers and
their music is in regular rotation when we're on the road." |

"The only guy in modern country I am really a fan of. He
writes and sings his own stuff and that's rare for somebody in
the mainstream. But I think he's a clever songwriter (check out
"Three-Minute-Positive-Not-Too-Country-Love-Song") and he has
really good players on his albums. Beside all that though, he
wrote a song about the same little river I grew up on, you might
have heard of it, 'Chattahoochee' ? " |

Chris Casello
"You can find Chris playing somewhere on Broadway in downtown
Nashville just about any night of the week. He is a great guitar
and steel player and has more energy on stage and off than just
about any other musician I've seen. I really enjoy watching him
perform and I'm really glad I got the chance to work with him on
"All Alone Again."" |

Gary Bennett
"Formerly with BR5-49, Gary was my favorite part of the band
(aside from Donnie Herron.) He wrote the old style country songs
ala Hank Williams. His solo album was great and I hope he does
another one. He works at the Ernest Tubb Record Shop on Music
Valley Dr. in Nashville now and does some shows here and there.
I hope I get the chance to write a song or two with him someday,
he's another one of my modern day favorites." |

"Jake is a good friend of mine from Brownsboro, TX. He is a
fantastic songwriter and singer. He has portrayed Hank Williams
in the Lost Highway play and also tours with his own Hank
Williams play "Hank Williams Remembered." Jake is one of the few
people who portray Hank and has studied him as well, so he knows
his stuff. He does a great job and there isn't anyone else I can
think of who is more qualified to portray ol' Hank." |

"Scott is my favorite of the one-man bands out there. He mixes
country, bluegrass, blues, gospel and a lil punk into his own
thing. I've never seen one man with more energy on stage than
Scott, and anybody who covers Leadbelly songs today I got a lot
of respect for." |

"One of the best guitar players in Nashville. He has played on
both of my albums and makes some damn fine records himself. He
is a master musician and can play faster and cleaner than
anybody I know. I'm glad to say he's a friend of mine." |

"Marty Stuart called Don 'The Dean of Nashville Musicians" and
he was right. Don played on countless hits
throughout his storied career with artists like Hank Williams
Sr., & Jr., Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and Ray Price. Don can be
heard on "All Alone Again" in what would be some of his final
recordings. I always told Don that nothing will ever top having
the opportunity to work with him in my career. He also knew
where every Cracker Barrel in the country was! |

"The Texas Troubadour, aka Hard Luck. Lynn played with Ernest Tubb for nearly a
decade. Lynn is one of my best friends and I always enjoy
hanging out with him, playing old ET songs and listening to
stories about the Troubadours. He's one of the finest steel
players and finest people I've known." |

"The youngest steel guitar player to ever be hired as a staff
member of the Grand Ol' Opry at the age of 18 in 1948. He played
on records with artists like Red Foley, George Morgan, Carl
Smith and countless others throughout the 50's. He's also a
great painter and some of his work is featured on his website." |

"The most recorded steel guitar player in history. Lloyd has

a great person and a great musician." |

He's a great writer and a great singer. We had a lot of fun with
